Our journey started in Cambridge as international students ourselves.
From books to bikes, humour to humility, latte to laughter...
Some things remained familiar. But plenty were different - dinner in gowns, open debates, separate water taps...
Experiencing and explaining cultural differences to new-found friends and professors was the (unknowingly) first step in connecting two cultures.
We then ventured into financial services and learnt more amazing things:
Perspective differences would spark many brilliant new ideas;
Time differences could seemingly delay a response; and,
Cultural differences should be celebrated -
for the creativity inspired, the knowledge imparted, and
the stereotypes reversed.
Learning Has No Border
So we founded Mind The Gap International, an education consultancy that focuses on helping education providers in China & UK
to develop internationally.

比如：学士服穿得最多的场合是学院的晚宴；小班课上的学术讨论激烈地像是辩论决赛；而冷热单开的水龙头让人洗起手来都不知所措 ……

我们不断地接触新的事物，融入新的环境，也在不断为身边人介绍文化差异的同时、加深了自己对中英文化的了解。
这段经历，铺垫了我们促进中英教育交流的决定。
而全球百强企业和政府机构的工作经历，
推动了我们促成中英教育交流的决心。
12年里，我们不断见证着“不同”的力量：
观点上的不同 可以激发出让人耳目一新的想法，背景上的不同 可能带来恰如其分的解决方案，时区上的不同 掐指一算还能“拉长”24小时 ……
文化上的差异，传达出了新的信息，拉近了人与人的距离，
灌输了新的观念，也改变了固有印象。
